What is Marquee?
The Marquee Club is TPAC's premier membership program. Marquee was created over three Broadway seasons ago, and due to popular demand and growth, TPAC is expanding the program to include all musical theatre enthusiasts and performing arts supporters who want to experience live performance on a new, exciting and exclusive level. Marquee Members use this club for date nights, corporate client entertaining, socializing, and networking.

This season, the Marquee Club consists of four levels. Each level is different, allowing you to choose the experience you want to have! Marquee prides itself on providing a unique Tuesday night out in Nashville by offering exclusive benefits – so take advantage of the perks and join the club today!

What does it cost to join the Marquee Club?
The Marquee Club consists of four different levels.  Each level has a different set of benefits so that you can choose the TPAC experience you want to have:

  • Applause Society Marquee Member:  Marquee Donation = $1250  per pair of seats plus the purchase of a six-show premiere subscription package in the Applause Society area of the theater ($344 per six-show package)

  • Performers Circle Marquee Member:  Marquee Donation = $475 per pair of seats plus purchase of six-show premiere subscription package in the Performers Circle area in the theater ($344 per six-show subscription package)

  • Subscriber Marquee Member:  Marquee Donation = $175 per pair of seats plus the purchase of a six-show subscription package ($344, $304, $239 or $135 per six-show package depending on where you choose to sit in the theater)

  • Marquee Member:  Marquee Donation = $150 per member.  This includes one guest to all Marquee events but excludes the cost of tickets.  Tickets are purchased individually and usually have discounts associated with them.
  • When I pay my Marquee Club dues, does my membership begin immediately?
Your Marquee Club membership is activated when you pay your dues, but the majority of your benefits don’t begin until the Broadway season begins.  Most of the Marquee events are cast parties which are directly associated with the Broadway shows.

If you join the Marquee Club mid-way into a Broadway season, your membership will NOT extend half way through the following season.  It will terminate at the end of the Broadway season you joined initially.

How am I supporting the Arts by joining Marquee?
The Marquee Club directly supports Tennessee Performing Arts Center's Annual Campaign.  TPAC relies on contributions to the Annual Campaign to make the best of the performing arts available to everyone. In addition to public programs that offer the community a variety of cultural and entertainment experiences, TPAC provides thousands of school children with innovative curriculum-integrated arts learning at no cost to schools, and presents the Humanities Outreach in Tennessee (HOT) performances for students from all over Tennessee. As a non-profit facility, TPAC strives to contain costs to other arts organizations who want to perform at TPAC, while maintaining its versatile and state of the art venues.

Can I bring a friend to Marquee events?
All Marquee Club levels include one guest at all events.  If you join as a single Marquee Member, you are allowed one guest at each Marquee function.  If you join the Marquee Club as a couple, you are each other’s guest.  If one person in the couple is unable to attend a Marquee event, the other person in the couple is allowed to bring a guest.  In some cases, additional guests are allowed to Marquee events but there will be an admission fee for those extra guests.

What is a typical Marquee Tuesday night?
The Marquee Members begin their Tuesday nights at The Arts Company on Fifth Avenue.  Members mix and mingle while eating food, provided by Rainforest Café, and drinking cocktails all in the setting of a beautiful art gallery.  Around 7:oopm, the Marquee Members head to TPAC for the show which begins at 7:30pm.  Immediately after the show, they meet the cast at the Nashville City Club for more food, drinks and entertainment while observing downtown Nashville from the 20th floor of the former SunTrust building on the corner of 4th and Church.  Be prepared for a long but extremely fun night!
