Nashville Ballet continues to lead the way to the pinnacle of artistic success by making classical and contemporary ballet accessible to new and traditional audiences. Guided by the high standards of Artistic Director Paul Vasterling for the past ten years, Nashville Ballet will celebrate Paul’s anniversary with creative new works and crowd favorites for this 22nd season. The 2007/08 season will include four series productions beginning with our fall series showcasing Balanchine’s Valse-Fantaisie, and Vasterling’s Dracula, followed by Nashville’s annual holiday treat Nutcracker in December. Warm up your winter; choose one of two hot and steamy weekends in February to enjoy Twyla Tharp’s Octet and Aiello’s Rite of Spring, and to conclude our season in April, come immerse yourself in one of the most-loved ballets of all times, Romeo & Juliet. Nashville Ballet has educated and inspired over 33,000 children through our outreach program, Learning Curves. The School of Nashville Ballet also offers a variety of pre-ballet to pre-professional training programs throughout the year.
