Description:
MOMIX transports audiences from their everyday lives to a fantasyland of beauty and whimsy through its trademark movement and use of magical lighting and imagery. Artistic Director and Choreographer Moses Pendleton combines athletic dance, breathtaking costumes, and inventive props to create an inspiring multimedia experience. Dancers transform their bodies, becoming birds, flowers, and even hornets, in a series of short, vibrant dances. With music ranging from recorded birdsong to Vivaldi, Botanica evokes the rhythms and seasons of nature.
