Arts Integration Institutes
Each July and November, TPAC Education offers purposeful,
goal-oriented professional development in arts integration around HOT Season for Young People performances.
Classroom teachers, arts specialists and teaching artists learn how preparing
students for a field trip to TPAC can address standards in memorable ways and
spark meaningful student engagement with the performance. Seminar leaders facilitate
learner-centered explorations that offer insight into selected performances. Action-oriented,
inquiry-based activities model effective ways to address multiple learning
styles. Interdisciplinary collaboration guides personalized design of an Arts
Integration Project. Local educators request teaching
artist classroom visits to complement
their own project lessons. Join us to see why so many educators call the
Institute their “best professional development” experience.
