Entertainer Alan Cumming to bring his Cabaret show to Music City

Alan Cumming, the Tony, Olivier and Emmy Award-winning actor, singer, writer, producer and director brings his highly-acclaimed cabaret show, Alan Cumming Sings Sappy Songs, to James K. Polk Theater on May 31. Tickets go on sale Friday, December 8 at 10 a.m.

Described by Time magazine as “one of the most fun people in show business”, Cumming is bringing his new show to Nashville after premiering in 2015 at New York’s legendary Café Carlyle and touring throughout the U.S., Canada, Australia and the U.K. He also appeared on Broadway in the 2014 Roundabout Theater Company revival of Cabaret.

Cumming has won more than 30 awards for his humanitarianism and social activism, received both the Great Scot and Icon of Scotland award from his homeland, and was made an Officer of the British Empire for his contributions to the arts and LGBT equality by the Queen.
