Is there a minimum age to volunteer?

Yes. We ask that volunteers be at least 18 years of age.

What do I wear?

There are many different volunteer opportunities at TPAC. Proper attire depends on the event. There is no volunteer "uniform", however. Always feel free to ask or refer to the volunteer manual.

What kind of training is required?

All volunteers are required to attend a yearly training session. These are generally held in July. This training goes over all positions for Jackson Hall as well as basic infomation for HOT programs. Depending on the need, a winter/mid-season traning session may be held, but not required. All new volunteers are also required to attend a new volunteer orientation which is held before the yearly training.

How much time am I required to give?

The wonderful thing about volunteering at TPAC is that the amount of time is up to you. There are those volunteers who are only available a few times a year, and those who volunteer several times a month. In order to keep you on our "active" list, we ask that you sign up for at least one event each schedule period (bi-monthly). Volunteer opportunities are available nearly around the clock. From daytime events to evening and weekend shows, there is always something to do.

Where do I come to volunteer?

The majority of the time, volunteers will meet in either Andrew Jackson Hall or Jackson Lobby. Volunteers are occasionally active in our other spaces. Depending on the event, work location will be given upon arrival.

What are the rewards and benefits?

Meeting new and interesting people, gaining exposure to the Arts, quarterly newsletter, Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon, Winter Potluck, ticket giveaways.
