Disney Musicals in Schools builds musical theatre programs in elementary and middle schools, fostering positive relationships between students, faculty, staff, parents, and the community. Students and teachers work in teams with teaching artists, developing the wide spectrum of skills needed when producing a piece of musical theater, including: critical thinking, problem solving, ensemble building, communication, self-confidence, and interpersonal skills.
The Spotlight Awards program is an arts education initiative which celebrates, supports, and grows the artistry and diverse community of high school theatre programs in Tennessee while developing confidence, creativity, empathy, and collaboration among schools. The Spotlight Awards strives to embody a spirit of camaraderie, diversity and inclusion, celebration for the arts, and a growth mindset. The Spotlight Awards program includes three main components: Learning Opportunities, Community Building Opportunities, and Professional Review and Recognition.
Wolf Trap Early Learning Through the Arts brings music, dance, theatre, and puppetry into pre-school classrooms through a nationally affiliated program. Professional performing artists create activities that target early childhood curriculum and developmental goals, partnering with educators to make the arts a vital teaching tool with young children.
