DESCRIPTIONIn his action-packed staging of Charles Dickens’ classic, Mark Cabus plays 18 different characters in an acting tour de force. He vividly recreates the haunting, compelling, and often humorous novella, acclaimed worldwide for its literary and historic value. The dynamic performance includes audience participation that captures student interest and imagination from start to finish. Though Cabus uses only Dickens’ text, he brings a modernity to the classic at a time of year when students are receptive to embracing—and passing along—the story’s enduring message.
