Learn more about how choreography helps to tell the story in theatrical productions. Highlighting shows that have famous dance numbers like A Chorus Line and Chicago, Tosha Marie will guide us through the styles and steps that make these shows unforgettable. We will also explore how choreography has changed through the years by comparing classic and contemporary musicals like West Side Story with In The Heights, and how culture impacts art by comparing The Wizard of Oz and The Wiz. All levels as well as no dance experience welcome – this class is for those who appreciate great theater and performances.

InsideOut Theatre Workshops are made possible by a grant from the Tennessee Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.
