DESCRIPTION

No matter where you go, there’s music. It’s a universal language and one of the best ways to celebrate the many cultures of the world. Travel to Africa, India, and the Middle East with Kattam Laraki-Côté and his trusted monkey, Takoum, on this global adventure of rhythm, song, and dance. To the sound of the n’goni, balafon, djembe, naffar, derbouka, and dhol, percussionist Kattam uses these various instruments to explore everything from African rap and desert dance to sufi rhythm and Bollywood dance. The show is based on the multi award-winning music album and DVD, Timbuktu to Bombay.
