La Bohème by Giacomo Puccini

It’s Christmas Eve in Paris.  In a freezing rooftop garret, Rodolfo, a struggling poet, falls in love with Mimi, a beautiful seamstress.  And through high comedy and serious drama, we follow their circle of artist friends as they make their way in the City of Light.  Puccini captures just what it means to be young and alive with a brilliant mix of emotion and some of the lushest, most beautiful music ever written.  (No wonder this operatic icon was reborn as RENT!)  Lose your heart and find bliss.

Directed by John Hoomes
Conducted by Dean Williamson
Featuring the Nashville Opera Orchestra
Sung in Italian with projected English titles
