KEN PAGE is widely known as the voice of “Mr. Oogie Boogie” in Tim Burton’s classic animated film, The Nightmare Before Christmas. His numerous television and film credits include Dreamgirls, Torch Song Trilogy, and All Dogs Go to Heaven. Ken made his Broadway debut as Nicely-Nicely Johnson in the all-black revival of Guys and Dolls, and his other Broadway credits Cats (Old Deuteronomy), Ain’t Misbehavin’ (Original Broadway Cast; Drama Desk Award), The Wiz (Lion), and It Ain’t Nothin’ But the Blues. In London’s West End, Ken starred in the original cast of Children of Eden (Father) and the concert performance of My One and Only. Ken has performed in cabaret and concert since 1976, most recently at the Eugene O’Neil Cabaret Conference and in the Jazz at Lincoln Center/Mabel Mercer Foundation’s tribute to Nat King Cole. In 2022, Ken appeared in a sold out, critically acclaimed engagement at 54 Below. He is the 2023 recipient of The Mac Awards Lifetime Achievement Honor in cabaret.
