Join us for a Lunchtime Preview of Nashville Repertory Theatre’s production of Indecent, a powerful and poignant play inspired by the true events surrounding the controversial 1923 Broadway debut of Sholem Asch’s God of Vengeance. Indecent explores the impact of censorship on art and is a moving tribute to the resilience of artists and the power of art to transcend borders and time. Panelists include director Micah-Shane Brewer, dramaturg Howard Snyder, and Dr. Leah Lowe, Vanderbilt’s director of the Curb Center for Art, Enterprise, and Public Policy. They will guide us through this play-within-a-play, and the cast will perform short excerpts. Reserve now as seating is limited!
This free InsideOut Lunchtime Preview event does not include viewing the full performance.
