Musicians Corner’s second annual September Sundown series returns to Nashville’s Centennial Park to present free multi-genre performances on each Thursday evening in the month of September. This Music City lawn party not only includes live music, but a variety of food trucks, the Musicians Corner Pub, local artisan vendors and Kidsville activities.
“There’s no better time than the fall to enjoy music outdoors in Nashville,” said Justin Branam, Musicians Corner Program Director. “We can’t wait to return to Centennial Park in September to showcase some of the best local bands that Music City has to offer.”
The September Sundown series will take place on Thursdays, September 5, 12, 19, and 26 from 5 – 9 p.m. Each week will spotlight a different local organization in the community to raise awareness and collect donations. Featured Community Partners this season include Nashville Humane Association, Fort Houston Artisan Support Project, Instruments of Joy, and Gilda’s Club Middle Tennessee.
Just like last year, Musicians Corner will partner with AMERICANAFEST® on Thursday, September 12 to present an official AMERICANAFEST® showcase in Centennial Park. This partnership will give the Nashville community an opportunity to see an AMERICANAFEST® showcase without spending a dime.
“Year after year, they continue to bring free, quality music programming to Nashville, and we’re excited to join in on the fun once again,” said Sarah Comardelle, AMERICANAFEST® Festival Producer. “This official showcase in the beautiful Centennial Park will give attendees a taste of AMERICANAFEST® in a family-friendly environment.”
September Sundown 2019 will feature live multi-genre performances by piano troubadour Gabe Dixon, southern fried brand of blues Marcus King Band, local Americana rocker Dylan LeBlanc, local soul band The New Respects, and more.

To help ensure the health and well-being of our audiences, artists, staff, and volunteers, TPAC has updated its Patron Entry Policy:

It means you’ll be unable to see the entire stage from those seats.
We sell these seats because for many fans the limited view is not a problem, and the tickets are clearly labeled at time of purchase (see photo below). Limited view seating varies event to event and could be something as small as a tiny corner of the stage being blocked from view. Call our box office at 615-782-4040 for additional information on limited view seating.
Seats marked with “Limited View” during purchase path
Many shows impose ticket limits to allow as many people as possible to have equal access to seats. This is done as a deterrent to third party vendors, i.e. scalpers, who may purchase large blocks of seats and then resell them online at an inflated cost. The term “household” refers to any shared information on one or more accounts. This includes, but may not be limited to matching names, mailing and billing addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and credit card numbers. Any households that purchase more than the allowed number of tickets may have their order(s) refunded without notice.
