Welcome to Night Vale, the hit eccentric horror podcast, will travel to Nashville for a one night only live show at TPAC on July 12.
Written by Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor, the twice-monthly podcast is presented in the style of community updates for the small desert town of Night Vale, featuring local weather, news, announcements from the Sheriff’s Secret Police, mysterious lights in the night sky, dark hooded figures with unknowable powers and cultural events.
As part of the Welcome to Night Vale World Tour, this live show entitled A SPY IN THE DESERT promises to bring the audience into the performance in unexpected ways. Like every past live show, it is a completely stand-alone story that can be enjoyed by both long-time fans and newcomers alike.
Since the creation of the series in 2012, Welcome to Night Vale has released 144 podcast episodes along with two novels, two script collections and seven recorded live shows.
The live show stars Cecil Baldwin, narrating, Symphony Sanders, Meg Bashwiner, and surprise guests playing fan favorite characters with live music by Disparition.
