Well, “Hakuna Matata.” Disney Theatrical Productions has your back with virtual access to its unique holistic arts education program, The Lion King Experience.
And it’s completely free. Can you feel the love tonight?
The web-based, multi-media curriculum provides students and educators an immersive introduction to theatre-making through the lens of the Broadway production The Lion King. Originally designed to be used in a classroom as an enhancement for schools producing KIDS and JR. adaptations of The Lion King, students can now follow the step-by-step instructions and complete the experience from the comfort of their homes.
The curriculum’s intention is to develop a wide range of theatrical skills, from playwriting and directing to technical aspects of theatre design. It offers an 11-session course for students aged 8-11 and an 18-session course for students aged 12-15 through video instruction and written materials.
First launched in 2015, The Lion King Experience was developed over the course of three years by Disney Theatrical’s education team as an accessible way for teachers to share theatre education with students.
The program grants accredited elementary and middle schools the opportunity to produce condensed, age-appropriate KIDS and JR. adaptations of The Lion King, which together with the curriculum, comprises The Lion King Experience.
The at-home learning instructions are available on The Lion King Experience website, and all sessions will be unlocked for students and teachers during this time.

It means you’ll be unable to see the entire stage from those seats.
We sell these seats because for many fans the limited view is not a problem, and the tickets are clearly labeled at time of purchase (see photo below). Limited view seating varies event to event and could be something as small as a tiny corner of the stage being blocked from view. Call our box office at 615-782-4040 for additional information on limited view seating.
Seats marked with “Limited View” during purchase path
Many shows impose ticket limits to allow as many people as possible to have equal access to seats. This is done as a deterrent to third party vendors, i.e. scalpers, who may purchase large blocks of seats and then resell them online at an inflated cost. The term “household” refers to any shared information on one or more accounts. This includes, but may not be limited to matching names, mailing and billing addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and credit card numbers. Any households that purchase more than the allowed number of tickets may have their order(s) refunded without notice.
