Four schools in Bedford, Coffee & Cumberland counties to join three Metro Nashville schools in their first year of Disney musical theater program.
When Disney Theatrical Group introduced Disney Musicals in Schools to Nashville in 2011, the idea of one day involving more than a thousand Tennessee students in its musical theater programs seemed like wishing upon a star.
For the first time since launching a pilot Disney Musicals in Schools program in 2011, TPAC is expanding it to students and educators in rural Tennessee communities, inviting two elementary schools in Bedford Country to participate.
This year, 27 Metro Schools participated in Disney Musicals in Schools with more than 1,200 students creating musical productions at their schools.
In a lively preschool classroom in Nashville, children eagerly pick up their pretend paint buckets and use imaginary brushes to paint triangles, circles, and squares in the air. They follow the lead of Holly Cannon-Hesse, one of dozens of teaching artists who play a leading role in TPAC’s educational outreach.
Five Metro schools have been selected to participate in the 2017-18 Disney Musicals in Schools program, an initiative developed by Disney Theatrical Productions to create sustainable theatre programs in disadvantaged schools.
We are so proud and grateful to be included as one of 44 recipients of the 2017 CMA Country Music Association Foundation’s annual donation to support music […]
Maddie & Tae, country music’s breakaway hit duo, will host the the Disney Musicals in Schools “student share” celebration in TPAC’s Jackson Hall on May 14.

It means you’ll be unable to see the entire stage from those seats.
We sell these seats because for many fans the limited view is not a problem, and the tickets are clearly labeled at time of purchase (see photo below). Limited view seating varies event to event and could be something as small as a tiny corner of the stage being blocked from view. Call our box office at 615-782-4040 for additional information on limited view seating.
Seats marked with “Limited View” during purchase path
Many shows impose ticket limits to allow as many people as possible to have equal access to seats. This is done as a deterrent to third party vendors, i.e. scalpers, who may purchase large blocks of seats and then resell them online at an inflated cost. The term “household” refers to any shared information on one or more accounts. This includes, but may not be limited to matching names, mailing and billing addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and credit card numbers. Any households that purchase more than the allowed number of tickets may have their order(s) refunded without notice.
