Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) operates one of the most unique facilities of its kind with three venues featuring multiple, state-of-the-art capabilities. Opened in 1980, the James K. Polk Cultural Center which TPAC calls home is located near the state capitol in downtown Nashville. In addition, TPAC manages War Memorial Auditorium, a multi-purpose and historic concert venue across the street. War Memorial is currently closed for renovation and unavailable for rental.

TPAC accommodates major music, dance, theatrical, and television productions, along with performances in intimate settings and a wide variety of such events as award ceremonies, films, recitals, product launches, receptions, and meetings.
