War Memorial Auditorium is located across from the 6th Avenue entrance to TPAC. The 65”10’ x 33”7’ crescent-shaped stage, where several live albums have been recorded, contributes to the auditorium’s superb acoustics. This renovated facility functions as a multi-purpose space and offers the flexibility of theatrical, cabaret, banquet seating, or an open-floor configuration on the orchestra level.
The room accommodates a maximum seating capacity of 400 on orchestra level when set in the banquet configuration. Maximum seating capacity in the theatrical configuration is 1,661. War Memorial Auditorium has no fly space, and cannot support overhead onstage rigging. In 2016 a new concert lighting and sound rig was installed to enhance the acoustics of the room.
War Memorial Auditorium is currently closed for renovation.
