Event Details
Join us for a transformative day of connection, collaboration, and empowerment at the Nashville Black Theatre Exchange! This event brings together Black theatre professionals, leaders, and enthusiasts to foster dialogue, share knowledge, and strengthen the community’s collective impact in the arts. Afternoon sessions include Headshots by Stoke Creative, Creating and Formatting an Artist Resume, Surviving and Thriving in Predominantly White Institutions, and Navigating Venue Access.
The Nashville Black Theatre Exchange is free, but registration is required with the expectation that participants will attend the entire event.
Itinerary

12:00 PM: Headshots by Stoke Creative (Headshot sessions will be scheduled from 12:00 - 3:00 PM and will be for the first 50 Registrants.)
- 1:00 PM: Creating an Artist Resume led by Brandon Hirsch
- 2:00 PM: Surviving and Thriving in Predominantly White Institutions (PWIs): Strategies for success and resilience in predominantly white artistic spaces. Led by Cynthia Harris.
- 3:00 PM: Navigating Venue Access: Overcoming barriers and building relationships with performance spaces. Led by Shawn Whitsell.
- 4:00 PM: Networking and Cocktail hour

This is a non-ticketed general admission reservation event. Participants will Check In at Event.
This event is free, but registration is required.
