Leave a Legacy
When you include TPAC in your estate plans, you make a lasting investment in the future of the performing arts in Tennessee. These gifts help ensure that future generations can experience the transformative power of live performance and arts education.
A legacy gift is a deeply personal way to celebrate your connection to the arts and extend your impact beyond your lifetime. These commitments allow TPAC to plan boldly, invest in artistic excellence, and expand access to the arts in meaningful ways.
Whether you leave a gift in your will, name TPAC as a beneficiary, or explore more creative options, there are many ways to make a lasting impact. By including TPAC in your long-term plans, you join a community of visionary donors who are committed to keeping the arts alive for generations to come.
Ways to Give
There are many flexible options for making a planned gift to TPAC. Below are some of the most common types of legacy gifts:
- Bequests - Name TPAC in your will or living trust for a specific amount, percentage, or the remainder of your estate.
- Retirement Accounts - Designate TPAC as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), 403(b), or other retirement plan.
- Life Insurance Policies - Name TPAC as a full or partial beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
- Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) - Recommend a grant now or name TPAC as a successor beneficiary.
- Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) - If you're age 70½ or older, you may be eligible to make a direct transfer from your IRA to TPAC.
- Appreciated Securities - Transfer publicly traded stocks, bonds, or mutual funds directly to TPAC.
We encourage you to speak with your financial or legal advisor to determine the best giving option for your goals and circumstances.
Sample Bequest Language
The following language can be shared with your advisor when including a gift to TPAC in your will or trust:
“I give and bequeath [insert amount, percentage, or asset] to Tennessee Performing Arts Center, a nonprofit organization located in Nashville, TN, EIN# 58-1320590, to be used for its general purposes.”
Unrestricted gifts allow TPAC the greatest flexibility to meet emerging needs and opportunities. If you are considering a specific designation for your gift, we would be happy to work with you to ensure your intentions are clearly documented and honored.
Let Us Thank You

You will also be welcomed into TPAC’s Legacy Society, a community of dedicated supporters helping to secure the future of the performing arts in Tennessee. Members receive special communications, invitations, and opportunities to engage more deeply with TPAC’s mission.
