Inclusion & Access
Connecting our community through the arts.
Arts Access helps ensure the doors of the theater are open to the entire community.
Arts Access is TPAC’s community access program that connects nonprofit organizations, schools, and community groups with opportunities to experience live performing arts.
For many participants, an Arts Access experience is their first time inside a theater. These moments spark imagination, inspire creativity, and create lasting memories while introducing individuals and families to the joy and connection that live performance can provide.
Each season, TPAC partners with nonprofit organizations across Middle Tennessee to welcome thousands of community members into the theater. Through the generosity of our sponsors Amazon and Merus Foundation, along with community partners, Arts Access helps remove barriers and expand opportunities for more people to experience performances at TPAC.
At TPAC, we believe the performing arts play an essential role in a thriving community. By creating opportunities for more individuals and families to experience the arts, Arts Access strengthens community connection and helps cultivate the next generation of arts audiences.
As TPAC looks toward the future and the development of a new performing arts center for Nashville, Arts Access remains a cornerstone of our commitment to ensuring the arts remain open, welcoming, and accessible to the entire community.
This program is made possible by the support of our official Arts Access partner Amazon, with additional support from the Merus Foundation.

Help connect more members of our community with live performing arts at TPAC.
Land Acknowledgment
Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) acknowledges the land upon which it presents arts experiences once belonged to the prominent Indian tribes of Cherokee, Shawnee, and Chickasaw in what is now the State of Tennessee. When we gather together, we honor the Indigenous peoples, their continuing legacy, and their deep connection to the land and its resources and respect those who carry, protect, and maintain the cultural values and traits of their culture while navigating the barriers and challenges of the dominant/majority culture. We know it is our obligation to acknowledge and revere the culture and experience of those to whom who this land once belonged.
Arts Access is TPAC’s community access program that connects nonprofit organizations, schools, and community groups with opportunities to experience live performing arts. By helping ensure the doors of the theater are open to the entire community, Arts Access makes it possible for more people across Middle Tennessee to experience the joy, inspiration, and connection of live performance.
