Season for Young People at Tennessee Performing Arts Center connects students with the power of live performance through engaging daytime shows designed specifically for school audiences.
Each year, thousands of students travel to TPAC for field trips that bring stories, music, science, and culture to life on stage. These performances offer meaningful connections to classroom learning while introducing students to the excitement of live theatre.
The season features a curated lineup of productions ranging from literary adaptations and cultural performances to science demonstrations and musical storytelling. Each experience encourages students to explore new ideas, ask questions, and experience the arts in a shared learning environment.
For many students, attending a Season for Young People performance is their first visit to a theater. These experiences spark curiosity and creativity while helping students see the arts as an essential part of our shared cultural life.
In addition to in-person performances at TPAC, Season for Young People also includes digital engagements available to classrooms, providing flexible access to performances that can be streamed directly at school.
